# 前言
Part 1 有三大必考话题：work /studies, hometown, accommodation。当询问 work 或 studies 时，可能会遇到以下几个问题
# Do you work or are you a student?
你工作了还是你是学生？
这个问题不能直接用 Yes / No 来回答，而应该试着展开来说，否则无法展示语言水平。下面是几种不同身份的回答思路。
本科生
I'm a student. I study ... at ... University. 我是学生，在 ... 大学学习。
I'm majoring in ... at ... University. 我在 ... 大学学习 ... 专业
高中生
I'm a student, a high school student. I study at ... 我是高中生，我在 ... 学习。
研究生
I'm a student. I'm doing a master's degree in ... 我是学生，正在 ... 攻读硕士学位。
doctorate / PhD 博士学位
bachelor's degree 学士学位
在职
I work. I'm a /an ... 我工作，我是...
- civil servant 公务员
Currently I'm working for ... as a /an ... 目前我的职位是 ...
I'm responsible for /in charge of ... 我负责 ...
My responsibilities involve ... 我的职责包括 ...
I'm self-employed. 我自己当老板。
刚毕业
Neither actually. 两种情况都不是。
I just finished high school this year. 我今年年刚高中毕业
I just graduated from university. 我刚大学毕业。
I just completed my master's degree. 我刚取得硕士学位。
# Why did you choose to study that major / do that type of work?
你为啥子学习这个专业 / 做这个工作？
回答这个问题时，可从两个方面来思考 —— 自身因素和外部因素，以下是参考词汇和句型：
自己的选择：可用现在完成时回答 have /has done
I've always loved ... since ... 我从 ... 时候起就喜欢 ...
I've always wanted to ... 我一直想做 ...
I've always been quite good at ... 我一直擅长做 ...
外部因素：父母的注意
In fact, It was my parents's idea, but I don't mind ... (doing) because ... 事实上那是我父母的主意，但我并不介意，因为 ...
It has a promising future 这份工作有前途
... graduates are in great demand ... 专业的毕业生需求量大
It's well-paid. 这份工作工资高
There are good benefits and job security 福利好，稳定
# What was the most difficult thing about your studies / work?
学习 / 工作中最困难的事是什么？
这个问题问的是以前的事情，可以用过去时来回答：
曾经觉得做 ... 很难
I found it really hard to ...
I used to struggle in ...
For some reason, I just couldn't ... no matter how hard I tried.
努力解决困难
But I'm working on it / It's getting better.
回答 what 问题的常用句型：
It would have to be ... + 动名词

# What's your future study / work plan?
你的学习 / 工作计划是什么？
这道题问的是将来的计划，可以用将来时来作答，有以下几种表达方式：
be planning to 表将来
I'm planning to (study for my master's degree / get a qualification in ...)
will be doing 表将来
I hope that in five years I will be (working for a multi-national company)
